Week 1: Checking in
Understanding your emotions is a key part of finding freedom and joy in your life. Your feelings are like a window to your heart, guiding you to what truly matters. By taking the time to recognise how you feel and explore the reasons behind those emotions, you can begin to heal and rediscover joy, no matter what challenges you face. Embracing your emotions with love and compassion can lead you back to a brighter place.
Week 2: Building Joy
Let’s rediscover joy together! Joy is about being grateful for our connection, no matter what. It’s not just a fleeting feeling; it’s a lasting state of being. So how do we find joy in this world of shit? The answer is simple, yet it takes effort. Let’s embark on this journey together and learn how to cultivate joy in our lives.
week 3: Listening to our creator
Understanding how to hear the voice of our loving God—our Dad—is so important. All religious institutions have misled us, seeking to control rather than connect. But Jesus came to break those barriers, inviting us into a personal, conversational relationship with God. Let’s practice together, learning to listen and connect with Him in a meaningful way.
week 4: Appreciation
Embracing joy and gratitude can transform our lives! Sharing stories of appreciation helps us notice the wonderful gifts our Dad has given us. When we reflect on the good moments and invite Him to reveal His presence in those experiences, we begin to see the abundance of blessings in our lives. Focusing on His goodness is one of the best ways to live fully and joyfully.
week 5: Letting Our Dad take over
Living in relationship with our Creator is how we were truly designed, but it requires a conscious choice to be with him. This can be one of the most challenging aspects of our journey with God, especially since we’ve often been taught to rely solely on ourselves.
I like to think of being with our Dad as flowing along a river—He is the river, and we simply flow with Him. It can be tough to let go and be present, waiting for His guidance and responding to challenges by turning to Him first.
week 6: A journey into health
my journey into having a healthy body what I’ve found to be good and what I’ve found that isn’t.
